Cambourne's only all-female singing group

Rhythm of Life was born from a group of five women from Cambourne who found they had one thing in common - they wanted to sing!

Directed by an experienced musician and music writer, Ana Sanderson, the five met in a conservatory and sampled a wide range of music. The group remained small in number, restricted partly by the size of the venue and partly by the available time each member could dedicate to the group.

In January 2009, the group made the bold step to expand and move into a public venue. Pre-Christmas publicising of this resulted in an unprecedented and unexpected attendance of over 40 women from the surrounding area who all wanted to join in.

We are currently a core membership of approximately 28, and there's a waiting list if you are interested in joining us in the future. We invite new singers to join every September, space permitting, after an audition with our mucical director. Please contact us for more information.
